Special Libraries for TCM Research

The Han Institute is working to create a special library in TCM compilation, scientific research, and knowledge transfer. Specifically, we are exploring the next generation library science paradigms as a means to advance clinical TCM. Our purpose is to collaborate and establish special collections of TCM scientific research. This project will honor TCM’s past and present researchers, culture, and history.

We desire to engage in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with clinic development, implementation, and clinical research and would also like to work towards community medical library services that may assist healthcare in communities with such clinics.” -Dr. Branch

Moreover, The Han Institute is looking to advance such paradigms worldwide since healing is valued by all societies. We are driven to become an expert in TCM library support and special collections development, as well as, virtual library TCM knowledge sharing, using information systems of libraries and TCM data centers worldwide.
